Combine sugar, oil, eggs and water in mixing bowl; beat for 1 minute. Add mixture of flour, baking soda, salt and spices; mix until moistened. Stir in sweet potatoes, pecans and raisins. Spoon into two greased 4x8-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool in pans for a few minutes and remove to wire rack to cool completely. Serve with cream cheese (optional).
